Migration of “INVESTMENT AND SAVINGS BANK” to B2 CBS
JSC "INVESTMENT AND SAVINGS BANK" (BISbank) is a Ukrainian commercial bank founded in 2005, with headquarters in Kyiv. The bank operates as a joint-stock company and ranked 30th in terms of assets among all 74 Ukrainian banks as of November 1, 2020. The bank actively implements innovative technologies and constantly expands its range of services for clients, especially in the corporate business segment.
CHALLENGE
“INVESTMENT AND SAVINGS BANK” required migration to a new banking platform and implementation of strategically important products.
SOLUTION
As part of the collaboration with CS company, the following solutions were implemented:
- CBS B2 – a core banking system that provides a full spectrum of customer services: from simple banking operations to complete automation of complex banking products, building analytical reports, and interaction with external systems.
- The “Lease” module – the first implementation of a solution that provides IFRS 16-compliant methodology for accounting of fixed assets lease operations, both owned and received for temporary possession and use.
- JetB2 Front-end – a client workstation for CBS B2 users, a web application that implements the functionality of the front-office part of the standard win32 client of CBS B2 for use by bank branches.
- iFOBS.Corporate – an internet banking system for corporate clients that allows the bank to organize remote banking services for customers in the most secure and efficient way.
- iB2 – a unified card account system that enables work with current and card accounts in a single account mode and automates customer card product operations through CBS B2. Integration between CBS B2 and the Is-Card processing system was configured.
The implementation process lasted eleven months and included the following stages:
- Identifying needs and analyzing the bank’s requirements
- Implementation of the bank’s requirements and tasks
- Testing and acceptance of the implemented systems’ functionalities
RESULTS
All key business processes are now conducted in a unified environment, which significantly simplifies and accelerates the bank’s operations.
