ORACLE DBA
Responsibilities
- Basic administration of Oracle Database version 19
- Analysis of Oracle DB performance issues and providing recommendations to improve application efficiency
- Planning and implementation of database backup policies, creating and maintaining backup databases
- Recovery of DBMS after failures
- Performing work at the customer’s site
- Participation in incident resolution and interaction with Oracle technical support
- Consulting customer specialists on Oracle functionality issues
Skills and Experience
- Experience with Oracle RDBMS (installation, backup, configuration)
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL fundamentals
- Experience with server operating systems – Linux, Windows. AIX, HP-UX, Solaris – is a plus
- Knowledge of scripting languages – bash, Windows PowerShell
