During the 2022 the card business line gained significant development – from the software development and implementation in CBS B2 to the implementation and operation in banks. So, during this time, the CS company has developed and put into the industrial operation three new modules, which are already in demand among users. 

We have also updated the existed card subsystem – Logistics. Its capabilities were significantly expanded and improved which greatly facilitated and accelerated the work of the back office employees. In spring 2022 this updated subsystem was successfully implemented in one of the banks of Moldova.

New Card Subsystems:

  • Disputed Transactions: designed to service the lifecycle of the client complaints about card transactions that are illegal in their opinion.
  • Reconciliation with card back/front office: enables to find the differences between similar entities in the CBS B2 and the card system.
  • Salary Projects and Social Payments: designed to automate the maintenance of salary projects and other agreements related.

New card subsystems are developed in the B2ng application that enables to use all benefits of this interface.

So, from now on, the structure of the CS card back office looks like this:

As for the existed subsystems they enable:

  • Card Back:
    • Issue cards of different payment systems (MasterCard/Visa/Prostir).
    • Support all the product line of processing system: personalized cards, instant cards.
    • Support cards with a magnetic strip, chip (including contactless) or combined.
  • Logistics:
    • Track the location of the card and its pin envelope.
    • Print all necessary acts, registers and other documents.
    • Automatically create accounting transactions on the off-balance sheet accounts and other.
  • Acquiring: account and serve the bank and merchant acquiring agreements and the agreements of the acquiring agents.

Integration Capabilities

Modules of the CBS B2 Card Servicing Suite have flexible integrational capabilities.They integrate with the processing centers and bank’s processing centers through the different platforms: Tieto, SmartVista, Way4, Ucrcard, FUIB.

  • Complete management of cards life cycle and cards
  • Work coordination from one point – CBS B2
  • Resources reduction on data transfer analysis due to the lack of data replication between systems. Therefore, as all cards are kept in the CBS B2, and not in other systems, there is no need to transfer relevant data to the B2, to download it to special forms for monitoring, to analyze and correct errors. The absence of redundant checks significantly saves time and other resources.
  • No need to purchase additional hardware
  • No need for additional human resources to service a separate card system

Each of the modules can be implemented separately and work independently or work within the Card Back Office Suite, which is licensed separately.
