On June 8-11, 2016, in Lviv, CS Ltd, independent software vendor, held CS NETWORK 2016 (former name for CS Annual Banking Automation Conference). HP Enterprise (“Platinum sponsor”), IBM (“Innovative Sponsor”) and Oracle (“Gold Sponsor”) traditionally supported the event. More than 160 participants from banks, financial organizations and international IT companies took part in the conference.
Current economic situation in Ukraine and in whole world once again confirms the truth of the well-known phrase “Crisis is the best time for changes”.
In 2016 CS Ltd ventured upon changes and rebranded its Annual Banking Automation Conference. These changes touched not only event’s name, but also its format.
Business part of the CS NETWORK 2016 was held not in the usual conference hall, but within the walls of the Lviv’s House of Scientists.
Panel discussions and best practices were presented to the audience apart from traditional reports and round tables. More than 35 experts from the host company – CS, biggest banks of Ukraine and leading international vendors spoke at the conference.
Day 1
On June 8, 2016 gala dinner in honor of the CS NETWORK 2016 conference opening was held on Kavalier Boutique Hotel grounds. Great mood of event’s guests, haute cuisine of the Culinarium restaurant and Carte Blanche music created an excellent festive atmosphere.
Also the awarding ceremony of CS clients was held within the bounds of the gala dinner.

Day 2
The welcome speech of CS founders traditionally opened the business part of the conference. Dmytro Radchenko, Andriy Boychuk and Oleg Vyazmitinov summed up company’s operating results and shared development plans.

Then the baton was passed to the next speakers – CS experts, partners and guests of the conference.
Mykhaylo Demkiv, financial analyst of the ICU company talked about current state of the banking sector and forecast for the second half of the year.

Within the bounds of the panel discussion representatives of three big banks of Ukraine – Kredobank, Alfa-Bank and Sberbank talked about IT transformation in crisis conditions.
Sight-seeing tour around Lviv finished the second day of the conference. Conference participants could not only admire the city views, but also taste Transcarpathian wines and cheese.
Day 3
Reports about Jet B2 web-client and DiPocket nonbank mobile application opened the third day of the conference.
Discussion of the most emerging CS activity areas – card and analytical became the main subject of the day.

CS card experts told not only about the latest developments, but also shared the results of the implemented card project in OTP Bank.
Also load testing results of CS::BI analytical system on DBMS HP Vertica were presented to the audience.
CS NETWORK 2016 closing ceremony was held in Italian Yard – one of the most beautiful places in the central part of Lviv.
To the accompaniment of a saxophone and bandura participants of the conference enjoyed the warm summer night, shared their impressions from the conference speeches, had dinner and shared business contacts.
