As of December 1, 2025, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has officially implemented the tracking service for payment transactions (TrekSEP) in the System of Electronic Payments (SEP) of the NBU. FULL CYCLE OF INTEGRATION WITH TrekSEP

 

SEP Tracking Service is designed for clear and reliable integration of banking infrastructure with TrekSEP. Our product also ensures regulatory compliance while providing modern services to bank customers, namely:

1. Automated Reporting and Status Tracking (trck.001/trck.003).
Our solution removes the operational burden from the bank’s IT department by automating the entire process:

  • Asynchronous Interaction: A dedicated worker regularly polls the bank’s database, selects transactions subject to reporting, forms, signs, and sends the trck.001 message to TrckSEP.

  • Error Handling: The system automatically receives and processes negative acknowledgments trck.003 and fault messages, initiating resending with corrections.

  • Clear Control: All stages are accompanied by updates to transaction statuses in the bank’s system, ensuring full transparency of the Client → Bank → TrekSEP chain and in the reverse direction.

2. Interactive Status Inquiry Service for Users – Bank Customers and Bank Operators (trck.999/trck.002).
SEP Tracking Service from CS provides bank customers and employees with a modern tool for monitoring the stages of financial transaction processing in real time:

  • User-Friendly Interface: Utilizes your client application (B2ng or other) for entering UETR.

  • Instant Results: A synchronous worker forms the trck.999 inquiry, receives the trck.002 report from TrekSEP, and displays detailed information about all stages of the payment – from initiation to crediting.

  • Improved Service Quality: Bank customers, participants in financial operations, have the ability to track and control payment processing stages not only through the client application but also directly at branches via bank operators.

3. Ready infrastructure for working with non-bank PSPs (Payment Service Providers)
We have already anticipated extended interaction requirements:

  • Centralized gateway: Our subsystem not only reports on the processing stages of financial transactions from and to non-bank PSPs within the servicing bank but can also act as a gateway for receiving trck.001 messages from non-bank PSPs, verifying them, re-signing, and further transmitting them to TrekSEP.

  • Full communication cycle: Automatic formation and sending of responses (trck.003) to non-bank PSPs in case errors are detected during the processing of reports from non-bank PSPs within the bank, forwarding negative acknowledgments received from the NBU’s TrekSEP to the non-bank PSP side, ensuring correct closed-loop data exchange logic.
