Ukrainian product and service IT company CS is looking for a Lead Automation QA Engineer  to join our team!
 

Skills and experience:

• 4 years of experience in the field of testing, of which 2 years in management positions (team leader, team lead, project manager);
• Knowledge and understanding of automated testing processes;
• Team management skills: ability to motivate, develop and mentor employees, distribute tasks, monitor performance and ensure achievement of goals;
• Experience in building and optimizing processes in accordance with the company's business goals;
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects and prioritize;
• Experience in forming a department's work plan in accordance with available resources;
• Ability to analyze product quality metrics and team performance, provide reports and suggestions for improvement;
• Experience in recruiting, adapting and training employees;
• Risk management and conflict resolution skills;
• Experience with banking or financial systems will be an advantage;
• Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, stress resistance, flexibility and adaptability;

Technical skills:

• Basic knowledge in test automation: understanding the principles of UI (web, mobile) and API auto tests;
• Basic knowledge of SQL, HTTP, SOAP, REST;
• Knowledge in test design and test data management;
• Experience with version control systems and test management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Building a testing strategy: analyzing current tasks and developing an automation plan, optimizing the approach to launching automated tests;
• Analysis and reviewing current solutions: assessing the state of automation, implementing new tools and technologies into the processes of organizing the work of the automated testing department, presenting the progress and results of automation to management;
• Team development: training, mentoring, assessing the effectiveness of AQA, gathering team capacity and assessing current tasks, building priorities together with the head of the testing department and the management department;
• Working with developers, DevOps, analysts, manual testers.
