[The Bank Security. What was on the agenda at the international conference in Prague?]


The CS Company took part in the "Bank Security" international conference, which was held in Prague from 22 to 25 April 2015.

The Business-Format Company, which hosted the conference, has invited the managers of security departments of the banks and companies from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Latvia and the Czech Republic to share their best practices in building and providing the effective functioning of bank security in various countries.

Special attention was paid to the global issue of necessary and appropriate integration of bank security service with various bank procedures - from internal procurements to the IT-sector.

During the presentations and round-table discussions the conference participants have exchanged experience in dealing with a large number of practical problems of banking security.

lexander Pogulyaka, Head of security solutions department for e-banking systems of the CS Company, in particular, made a presentation “Security of Internet banking: from blissful ignorance to comfortable confidence”, where he depicted the main risks of modern online banking and paid a special attention to the congestion of e-banking security systems, which leads to customers' loyalty decline.

Alexander has showed through the example of iFOBS Internet banking how to arrange the safe and comfortable functioning of the online banking for a customer. He also has revealed the ways to reduce costs during building and supporting a system.

The conference was held in live communication format which allowed participants to exchange in the most constructive manner their best practice in security service functioning in the various countries. All participants admitted that there is a compelling need in sharing experiences between international colleagues and partners.
