Business Analyst (HRM System)

CS, a Ukrainian product and service IT company, is looking for a Business Analyst for the HRM System project – a system for automating HR and accounting processes.

About the role:

You will work with the development team and stakeholders, helping to transform business needs into clear solutions and product functionality.

The project is in an active development phase, where it is necessary to structure business processes, formulate requirements, and create the product together with the team.

Your tasks:

  • Gathering, analyzing, describing, and aligning business requirements with clients and system users
  • Managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing user needs
  • Modeling and optimizing business processes
  • Preparing functional requirements, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Setting and detailing tasks for the development team
  • Interacting with developers, testers, PO, and PM
  • Participating in testing of implemented functionality
  • Participating in product implementation and configuration
  • Consulting users on system operation and new features

We expect:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Practical experience in gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business requirements
  • Experience in preparing User Stories, Use Cases, Technical Specifications, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, SDLC, and experience working in distributed teams
  • Experience interacting with developers, testers, and business stakeholders
  • Understanding of information system integration principles, REST API, JSON
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
  • Basic knowledge of database organization and SQL, understanding of table structures, keys, data relationships, and principles of their use in information systems
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify risks, and propose optimization solutions
  • Strong communication skills, systemic and analytical thinking

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in HR process automation projects, personnel records, or payroll calculation
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian labor legislation
  • Understanding of the principles of building personnel records systems, HR management, and payroll processes
  • Experience with electronic document management systems
