[iFOBS.Mobile, What’s New?]

mobilenews

Mobile phones and tablets have become engrained in our everyday life and are an integral part of it. In every new version vendors of mobile devices come up with more and more new features for customer convenience and they are definitely worth implementing in mobile banking!

What technical innovations work today in the iFOBS.Mobile banking system by CS? Read right now.

Fingerprints instead of passwords. It is possible to log in to mobile banking using fingerprints for owners of devices supporting TouchID function. When a customer logs on to iFOBS.Mobile for the first time from a device supporting TouchID function, the system offers to use fingerprints instead of passwords for logging in to mobile banking. So the customer does not need to remember passwords and write them down somewhere – identification by fingerprints is much handier.

Updating balances by shaking. When customers view their accounts and cards they can activate balance update by shaking their device. This possibility will be highly appreciated by those who prefer shaking to the tapping. And for banks it is an elegant way to charge commission for updating card balance. As known it is requested from the card processors and is a paid service.

Push notifications. Every bank likes to send SMS to customers. Because this allows to deliver advertisement or other important (for the bank) information quickly, cheaply and above all it is delivered directly to the target audience.

The good news for the banks: new they can send push notifications instead of SMS to their customers. The notifications are cheaper (they are free of charge), more capacious, and the main thing is that they are more than simply passive text – push notifications allow customers right while reading “enter into a dialogue” with the bank about the notification subject. For example, if a notification is about a new deposit when customers tap it they will see the order form for this deposit. And so on and so forth. In other words push notifications are a much more powerful marketing tool than passive texting.

Banks can offer all these features to their customers with the help of the CS Ltd right now. And this list will be expanded in the nearest future:

Account flow visualization. Income to and withdrawals from customer accounts and cards will be displayed in the form of picture graphs, thus allowing customers to see their finance dynamics and plan their budget.

Cross sales. In the foreseeable future customer’s geolocation is planned to be used for offering them bank services or services of partners of the bank. If customers are in “the region of interest” of the bank or its partners, they will receive a message with a service offer: “Deposit your money in N bank branch and receive 5% as a present”, “Discounts in N car showroom for our bank customers!”.

The CS Ltd takes care of customer convenience and improves usability of its solutions. It is commonly known that customers will use only the functions that are convenient to use.
