[Cards opening from mobile banking – interesting new way for attracting customers and remote service]

Perhaps nowadays the importance of developing remote service channels for banks is beyond doubt. That’s why we continue to introduce new services that allow banks to serve customers remotely and attract new customers.

Recently, Globus Bank introduced a new service that allows customers to open cards via mobile app.

Previously, there were successfully implemented projects for remote customer identification and loans issuance at partner sale points (for example, in appliances stores). And now, thanks to the new service for opening cards under the GlobusPlus programme in mobile banking, the process of loans issuing and servicing has become completely remote.

The client is identified through the mobile banking app, sees the credit limit set for them and the cards available for opening. The client can open a virtual card or register a plastic card they already have – for example, if the card was given in a partner's store when issuing a loan, or received by mail.

The mobile app sends the request to the bank. Then the CFRONT integration platform controls the process: it provides communication between the information systems participating in the process (automated banking system, mobile banking, card system and processing, external sources of customer data, etc.) and provides the necessary checks, routing of the request between the bank's branches to make a decision, sign an agreement and create a deal, for setting limits and sending messages.
This solution from CS Ltd is easily adapted to any mobile banking.

We are currently working on expanding the capabilities of the service: soon customers will be able to apply for a change of the credit limit amount, and in the near future the bank will be able to offer a new product – the opening of the єПідтримка card.

Stay tuned!
