Recently CS Company has implemented the Archiving Policy Module in the Idea Bank in order to optimize the CBS B2 database volume.

CS Company has been automating the Idea Bank activity since 2017.
Bank’s IT landscape includes: CBS B2, analytical system СS::BI, front-office system JetB2, web-services JetB2 MiddleWare, internet-banking iFOBS, solution for automation of all the operations connected with the credit bureaus - CB::Connector and iB2 system, which provides online integration with clients card products in the CBS B2.

Despite difficult times and circumstances, Idea Bank is characterized by stability, development and processes improvement. So recently the Archiving Policy Module has been implemented in the Idea Bank in order to optimize the CBS B2 database volume for the more economical use of the disk space.

Module Features:

• data archiving,
• archived data restore,
• data deletion,
• estimation of the amount of the freed space before starting archiving/deletion,
• work in the parallel mode,
• load management when archiving/deleting,
• stopping the start and continuing work from the point of stop,
• pre-installation of parameters for launching archiving/deletion.

As a result, the Idea Bank achieved the 30% decrease in the amount of data in the CBS B2 tables.
